Good morning! Below are my Friday Finds!
Indian Shrimp Curry – This dish was so quick to make and everyone went back for seconds. H even wanted thirds! I’m going to have to double the recipe next time. I served it with brown rice. I like that my kids enjoy different cuisines. I used to be intimidated to make Indian food, but easy, simple dishes like this make it easy!
Girl, Wash Your Face – I am loving this book. Rachel Hollis is hilarious, understanding and gives me the kick in the pants I need to follow my dreams. I know, it sounds cheesy, but it’s true. Plus, now I say “girl” in front of pretty much everything. It helps me accomplish whatever task I have in front of me. I’ve been walking around all week and saying to myself in my head “Girl, do your laundry.” “Girl, take out the trash.” It works. Try it!
Reverse Dieting – This is blowing my mind. I’m eating MORE food and seeing results. My brain is still wrapping itself around this concept. I’m liking it a lot though because, like I said, I get to eat more food and that is always a good thing! For more info, check out Christina Jahrling’s Facebook page Eat.Drink.Lift and especially this video!
Wicked Thin Cookies – These are DELICIOUS. I usually eat one after lunch. One cookie is 65 calories and fits perfectly into my macros. HEB is just the best. Yes, I get to eat cookies on my reverse diet! How cool is that?
Prime Wardrobe – Ummm, where I have been? Have any of y’all done this yet?? Amazon will send you items to try on and then you return what you don’t want within the week. They will charge you for only the items you keep. Now, don’t get me wrong. I like shopping locally. I worked in a small boutique in Mandeville and there is something about the personal service you get in small shops that Amazon can’t provide. BUT, my husband has been wanting new shoes. He doesn’t really have time to go to the store during the week to try on different brands so Prime Wardrobe is sending him three different pairs. I’ll keep you posted on how it works out.
We are at the lake this weekend with dear friends from Louisiana. You’ll see tons of photos on my IG feed of these crazy kids. As I’m writing this five kids are running around yelling, laughing, making up songs and screaming they want breakfast. Isn’t it nice when you and your friends’ kids get along so well? Although, I’ll be honest that Erica and I are already planning our kid-free weekend in the future!
Have a wonderful weekend!
